In addition to writing the screenplay for Better Times, Rick wrote the lyrics for the songs featured in the pilot.

Other screenplays in development also feature his lyrics, which he creates in collaboration with his songwriting partner, Jeff Gold, who writes the music and produces the songs.

Better Times draws upon Rick’s extensive background in public relations and project management. Specializing in collaborative team building, Rick has developed strong, effective teams in public relations. He has worked in numerous areas, including high technology, education, health promotion, journalism, and business.

Rick infuses his writing with an appreciation of the most notable trends in society, especially in high technology. His stories and lyrics project a positive take on life. He builds in humor as well as he aims to create memorable, satisfying stories.

When not working on scripts, Rick enjoys collaborating with Devin Fisher, another partner, on developing cellphone games, and they already have one planned for production.
