Michael Gonzalez, EdD
Michael began his writing career under the mentorship of story structure guru Robert McKee, leading to co-writing the screenplay Madness. He then wrote Turn a Blind Eye with award-winning director Ted Post. Michael also penned Night of the Archer, filmed in Slovakia, and was later hired to write screenplays for three German producers. Additionally, Michael authored Six Sugar Cubes and FUBAR, biographies of individuals who triumphed over overwhelming obstacles. Recently, he wrote the screenplays Love and Led Zeppelin, Fourth and Inches, and Chrome Bike, and is currently writing Requiem for a Stuntman for producer Don Murphy.
Michael earned his Doctor of Education degree at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, and as an Education Policy Fellow, completed his postdoctoral work at the Minnesota State Planning Agency. His career also includes managing anti-poverty university programs and serving as Manager of Continuing Education for a manufacturing division of Xerox. He is a business owner and has served as General Manager of two companies in Taiwan.
Michael resides in Oceanside, California, where he enjoys swimming, traveling, and taking long walks on the beach with his wife.
