John & Jimmy Flynn

John Flynn (on left) and Jimmy Flynn (on right) have been making up stories together their entire lives. Raised in Sacramento and now residing in Los Angeles, they wrote and acted in drama productions throughout high school and college. Since graduating from Santa Clara University, they have written scripts for film, television, and stage.

The Flynns center their stories around underdog characters with relatable flaws and compelling motivations. Their scripts come stuffed with snappy dialogue, shocking twists, and deeply personal details, all of which culminate in bittersweet, yet satisfying endings.

Together, the Flynn brothers have written, produced, directed, edited, and starred in seven short films, one of which was selected to the 2017 Sacramento International Film Festival. They can be seen performing sketch comedy at the Pack Theater in Los Angeles. Before becoming screenwriters, John worked as an award-winning investigative journalist and Jimmy performed stand-up comedy.
