Joanne Baron is an actress with over 150 film and television credits as well as theater credits on both the New York and Los Angeles stages. Her stage credits include, There Once Was a Girl from Pawtucket staged in Los Angeles which received multiple Dramalogue Awards.
With iconic roles in films such as This Is 40 opposite Melissa McCarthy, (outtakes are among the greatest following ever online) Halloween Ends, starring opposite Jamie Lee Curtis, Real Genius, Valley Girl, Someone To Watch Over Me, and recurring and starring roles on series such as The Lincoln Lawyer, The Morning Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Mad Menx, Grace and Frankie, SVU, and so many others. She created and starred in the film Allie & Me, for which she won Best Actress at the River Run Film Festival as well as creating and starring in the film Spider-Man 2 with Jeff Goldblum which opened the Sundance Film Festival, all to critical acclaim.
She was raised in Providence, Rhode Island and received early acceptance to the University of Connecticut, then pursued Broadway opportunities and sang at the renowned club, Reno Sweeney’s with Cissy Houston, Whitney Houston’s mother.
Lastly, Joanne Baron is also one of the most highly-regarded acting coaches working with stars like Halle Berry, Mariska Hargitay, and Jeff Goldblum.
