For Studios
Partnering
Riveting River partners with other independent studios to produce its screenplays. Working together, we evaluate, improve, and package scripts to present to major decision-makers in the entertainment industry. This collaboration is the key to our success. We can pair with people and companies that provide additional expertise and experience targeted to each project in our portfolio. Our years of dedicated cultivating of these partnerships benefit writers who have yet to establish themselves in Hollywood. Our studio partners are also rewarded as we create pipelines of new content for audiences’ insatiable viewing appetites everywhere. We offer the following four primary areas of expertise.

Relationships
Getting a TV series or feature film on the air or streaming can be a complex operation involving multiple parties and a variety of relationships. Riveting River understands the importance of open and trusted communication. Every one of our team members is trained to be responsive, reliable, and respectful in the manner they treat the highest executive to the youngest and newest studio employee. Our service is second to none, and we continually train our team in best policies, practices, and procedures. The professionals assigned to work directly with the studios make every interaction enjoyable and productive.
One of the best ways to illustrate our team’s friendliness and professionalism is through the works they produce. We are very proud of the books written by our team members. These books demonstrate the care and compassion that is a hallmark of Riveting River and how we treat all of our relationships.
Manners Will Take You Where Brains and Money Won’t by Donald G. James
Donald goes beyond handshakes and thank-you notes to explain how the true definition of manners is the authentic and genuine way we show up in the world. With inspiring and thought-provoking stories from his 35 years in public affairs and education at NASA, and guided by the lessons his mother taught him, Donald explains how having good manners is a key ingredient to finding purpose, fulfillment, and meaning in business and in life.
With an engaging foreword by Congressman Eric Swalwell, Manners Will Take You Where Brains and Money Won’t represents a call to dignity and etiquette at a time in our history when those qualities matter more than ever. This book is an essential guide for recent graduates, young professionals, mentors, human resource managers, and anyone who wants to build fulfilling and meaningful relationships at work and elsewhere.
Angel on a Leash: Therapy Dogs and the Lives They Touch by David Frei
David’s heartwarming collection of stories about the therapy dogs in his life and the people they touch, Angel on a Leash, celebrates the “ministry” that Frei shares with his wife, Chaplain Cherilyn Frei, the director of spiritual care at the Ronald McDonald House of New York. Frei may be the most recognizable face and name in the dog sport, as “the Voice of Westminster,” the famous New York kennel club for which he has worked for the past two decades, but his true passion for dogs is in therapy work.
Frei retells the stories of the everyday miracles he’s witnessed his therapy dogs perform over hundreds of trips to their favorite places. Never sappy or sentimental, Frei’s writing style is straightforward and honest, with a swiftness that keeps the reader turning pages (and wiping tears). Beyond the inspiring storytelling, the book also offers practical advice to potential therapy dog handlers.
Four Percent: The Story of Uncommon Youth in a Century of American Life by Michael S. Malone
Michael has written one of the most complete histories of the Boy Scouts of America and the first to focus on the remarkable story of Eagle Scouts. Himself an Eagle, he brings the eye of a veteran journalist to a story that has been wrapped in myth and prejudice for too long and uncovers one of the most important, but least celebrated, movements in modern American history.
This book is more than just a history of the Eagle Scout rank, but also the story of many Eagles—a President of the United States, dozens of astronauts (including Neil Armstrong), Medal of Honor recipients, Nobel prize-winning scientists, authors, movie stars, titans of industry, Senators, Congressmen, and Governors, civil rights leaders, and community activists—who have transformed the face of America over the last century.
